Just as an artist signs their work, Frank Lloyd Wright would initial a red tile placed near the entry of his buildings. His work inspired my career as a designer which has been molded by a family of craftsmen and engineers, and a handful of great mentors along the way. I learned to sew by my mother, and spent summers watching my grandfather in his woodworking studio. Travels with my family always included national parks, historic sites, and museums that have given me a traditional point of view that blends with the modern and innovative aspirations of what is next. Appropriately, my designs are an exploration of duality; balancing a minimalist, technical, and classic style while pushing myself to explore shape, color, and material.
